This policy describes how realtimenow.online works today. We will update it before introducing advertising or other tracking services.
Information stored on your device
We use your browser’s local storage to remember saved world clocks and their names, your preferred 12- or 24-hour format, light or dark theme, and your Tabata and Gym timer settings. These preferences stay in your browser; we do not create a user account or send your saved workout plans to a server. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser storage.
Requests made while you use the site
Your browser requests the site’s files and periodically asks our server for the current time to compare with your device clock. As with ordinary web requests, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and request time to deliver the site and maintain security. The time comparison does not need your saved clocks or workout settings.
When you search for a city or country in Add clock, the search text is sent directly from your browser to Open-Meteo’s geocoding service, which uses GeoNames data. Your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts. These providers may receive your IP address and other technical request information under their own privacy practices. No location search is made until you enter a search term.
Contact messages
If you use the Contact Us form, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message you enter. We use your email address to reply directly to your message if needed; the form does not send an automatic reply or confirmation. Do not include sensitive information in your message.
We send your submission and reply address to our support inbox through Gmail’s SMTP service. The site temporarily uses technical request information, such as your IP address, to limit spam and duplicate submissions. We use contact messages to review site feedback and do not publish them.
Advertising and consent
We do not currently run Google AdSense or set advertising cookies on this site. There is no advertising consent choice to make while advertising is disabled. Before introducing ads, we will update this policy to identify the advertising providers and their use of cookies or other identifiers, and use a Google-certified consent-management platform where required, including for eligible visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. We will not present a simple site-made banner as a substitute for that platform.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our data practices change. Please check it again when new services, such as advertising, are introduced.
